365 days later....

I'm still just as happy as ever in my life with Cameron! :) I can not believe it's already been a year that we've been married. It has been a hard year with Cameron being gone on his 2nd deployment but all the time I've gotten to spend with Cameron has made this year as Mrs. Cameron Taylor as the best year of my life. I hope that all the years to come are this awesome but I just hope that they don't go by so fast! :)

I came home from work on Friday to a bouquet of flowers, a vase, a teddy bear and a card from Cameron and it was amazing! :) (Picture above)

Then realized that Melissa had put up a banner for me and bought me THE candle on my last wish list! :) What great friends! :)

Websites

So, I'm on the website team at work and we're trying to put together a more inviting, clean, and organized website. Our website now is awful. I have a few ideas of what I like but was just curious as to what everyone looks for when they go to a website. What catches your attention? What keeps your attention on that website? What makes you decide whether or not you want to use the company on the website that you go on? Any suggestions? Just let me know!!!

Ahhh....

I was awaken this morning to Cameron's voice, I actually had time to get up and eat breakfast before work and I've had time to e-mail a few people and type this blog. I say that so far, this is a great day! :) <3 Hope everyone else has a great day!!!!

I do realize that I'm ex-TREMELEY frustrated right now but come on. When I call customer support I've already had it up to HERE with the problem and I just want it fixed as do most of us since, of-course, customer support if the LAST resort. Now when I call customer support and they speak english and I can understand what they're saying it's still confusing enough to get something fixed. In the situation that I had tonight and they speak English but you can't understand a damn WORD of it....UGH. COME ON. I've already done everything I can, PLEASE at-least if I press the 1 for English, give me someone who SPEAKS IT. GRRR. I'm sorry everyone but I'm really ticked off about this right now.

On a good note, today was my Mom & Dad's 25th Wedding Anniversary! :) I hope they have a great time in the mountains!!! <3 you both!

Lcpl Malone

If we could all stop and say a prayer for the family of Lcpl John Malone today that would be very appreciated I'm sure. He was killed in Afghanistan yesterday. Cameron is really upset about it as they were friends so if we could also say a prayer for him and all the other men of 2/3 Echo.

So 7 things about myself that no one would really know....

1. Every time I sing, even if it's just the alphabet, my eyes water like I'm going to cry. (Maybe it's because I'm so terrible at it?)

2. I think that everyone should have at-least one animal because they are great for the soul.

3. I quit smoking since Cameron deployed and haven't felt much better yet since quitting. Hopefully that changes?

4. Cameron and I want to have 3 or 4 children, depending on how the first few go! :)

5. Cameron and I are hoping to get a baby brindle boxer for Cam's coming home from war present! :)

6. I wish that I would have never gotten rid of my first car, the 1992 Honda Accord EX, because it was very dependable and FREE to me. :(

7. I always forget that on Sunday's the mail isn't delivered so I check it 7 days a week...I know, I'm silly.

Review

So, I had my 3 month review at work and it went great! :) I love my job and I love the people that I work with so I'm very excited things went as well as they did!

I also have my schedule all the way through the end of October and that's making things much easier for me to plan since I'm trying to enroll at Kapiolani Community College to finish my Associates in Accounting. EXCITING!! :) The best part? Cameron and I only have to pay for the books!!!! YAY!!!

It's almost FRIDAY everyone! I'm off Saturday and Sunday and that's the first time in a while so I have an entire list of things on my "to do list." Normally, I would blow the list off to go to the beach but since I'm on the Prednisone the Dr. said no laying out for hours, soooooo, going to get a lot done this weekend, I hope! :)

Can't sleep...

thanks to this new medicine that the Dr. has me on I swear my insides are at 200 degrees F. AHHH!! :) Even though I can't sleep, some great things have come out of tonight! :)

1. I got to talk to my hunny for like an hour! YAYY!!! That's about the longest conversation we've had since he's been gone. He's doing great. He sounds great and he laughed a lot! :) It was absolutely WONDERFUL just to hear his voice. It made my day much better, especially after the past few days I've had!

2. I've learned that something I've wanted for a while is going to come TRUE!!! :) <3>

3. I've come to realize who my true friends are and which ones never were. I am glad to know that now!

4. I know that I have an AMAZING husband, an amazing family and amazing friends who are always there for me and who always have my back.

5. I am praying that I will have every Sunday off from work so that I can start going back to church because I realize how much I've missed it since I took a job working on Sundays. Or maybe since I started going out and partying on Saturdays, either way, it's time to get back into church and get my relationship back with God. :) <--& hopefully Cam will go with me when he returns home!

6. After talking to Cameron we both realized that our credit cards will all be paid off in less than a YEAR! :) <3>

7. I have been living in Hawaii almost a year and Cameron and I have been married almost a year. I can't believe how fast it's gone. It's been one of the best years of my life. I've learned so much that I never thought I would have learned about myself. I've learned that I'm stronger than I've ever thought I was, I know that no matter what I can stand on my own two feet and I never have to depend on another human being, although that comfort is nice. I've come to learn that I can be by myself and I don't ALWAYS need someone to be there by my side. That's what God is for! I've come to realize that there is a time to grow up and I think I've come to that point in my life and I can't wait to grow up with Cameron. I can't wait for the two of us to have a life together, outside of the USMC, and get to spend the rest of my life with him.

8. I have the BEST support group there is and I wouldn't trade anyone in it for the world!

Keith Robinson's first wedding as the flower girl and I totally DIDN'T drop any flowers and I TOTALLY DID cry the ENTIRE wedding because I didn't do what I was supposed to because at rehearsal my dad was joking with me and told me that I would have to pick up every flower that I dropped...horrible first wedding experience! :) But before Keith walked out with the now ex-wife he looked at me and told me I did a great job and he loved me! :)

Took Pablo out to pee since he can't hold it and I can! :)

NIECE!!! :) I'm SOO excited and I knew the whole time! :) lol! I've already bought a lot of girl stuff for my sister and I can't WAIT to send it to her! She had her "cake cutting party" yesterday and I got to be on the phone while they cut the cake. It was great! :) I'm so happy for her and J, her husband! I can't wait to know the name and I can't WAIT to meet her! She's going to be here sometime in January!! :)

Privacy

As for going private. I have decided against it after speaking with some friends who read my blog. I used to have my blog private but it was too big of a pain in the butt for people to read it and to be able to leave comments. I'm just going to hope and pray that no one that shouldn't be looking at the blog will! :)

My not so much baby bump...

I see a lot of people are pregnant and to be quite honest, I'm a tad bit jealous. Only a tad bit but still the jealousy is there. I know that isn't the best thing for Cameron and I right now, not to mention IMPOSSIBLE, but still every time I hear someone talk about their due date, their pregnancy, or anything to do with babies my heart twinges just a little.

Anyone else have this fever and any ideas of how to get past it since Cameron and I have discussed it and will NOT be trying for quite sometime....Any suggestions at all would be great, unless of course it's a suggestion for me to watch someones 2 year old. That will not be happening! :)

October

As most of you know by now I will not be coming home to visit in October as originally planned. I decided, along with Cameron and my Momma, that it would be best for me to stay here until Cameron gets home so that if he and I would like to go home together we will be able to. My job will only allow me to take so much leave time so that's what I've decided to do! I hope to see everyone soon but Cameron and I are not sure about whether or not we will even be coming home on his leave. We will just have to see. We may wait until his next leave block that he gets (after Christmas and New Years) to come home! We miss everyone greatly but since we are planning to build a house when we move back home we think this may turn out to be the best idea. We all hope that you understand! <3

Catch Up

I want to start by apologizing for my absence in the blogging world. I've been crazy busy with work and when I'm not at work I'm crazy busy laying out at the BEACH!!! :) (& working out so I can look HoT when Cam comes home!) :)

I'm going to try to catch you up as best I can...here goes! :)

Pablo has fully recovered from being neutered and he is still humping everything in site! He prefers to hump Karis, a friend of mine, but anything will substitute at this point. Oh well, hopefully he will grow out of it. He has stopped marking his territory so I don't know that I can ask for anything more!

TO EVERYONE WHO SENDS CARE PACKAGES TO CAMERON- The last day to send a care package, or any type of mail parcel, is SEPTEMBER 30th. PLEASE don't send anything after that date because Cameron will NOT be guaranteed to receive it since it will go into a holding place here in Hawaii until the guys return home. By that point who KNOWS who could go through it or get it. I've given a warning! :) As we are on the subject of Cameron I got to talk to him a few nights ago for about an hour (the total of 2 days). He seems to be in pretty high hopes and sounds great. He is asking for dip and cigarettes but that seems to be all. He sends his love to everyone!!! :) I would like to ask for the prayers for Cameron (and all other deployed military) to continue, as I pray for them every night.

I have finally gotten rid of Sprint (and I'm going to start trying to talk Cameron into the same). We'll see how far that gets us. I still have the same # but I have gone back to Verizon (Alltel). I had them before coming to Hawaii but there wasn't an Alltel here so I put my phone on a military hold until I moved back home. After talking with Spring (& w/ Verizon) I found it would be cheaper for us to pay to cancel my contract with Sprint and get a new 2 year contract with Verizon than to cancel the Verizon account. The best part of the deal? I got a BRAND NEW PHONE, for $50!!! YaY!!! :) So, I have a BRAND NEW Sprint phone for sale if anyone is interested let me know and I'll give you the details!

Laura, how do you make your diaper cakes? I am making one for a friend I've looked on-line for instructions but I can't seem to find one that I really like and I LOVED yours so if you are a good explainer would you mind sharing?

Going Private

I've been doing a lot of thinking and after much consideration have decided to go private with my blog. I have a good friend who also blogs who went private and after some things that I've seen on the news and in the papers recently I feel that will be the best decision for myself as well. I will be going private on Thursday, 9/3/09. My friends...

I have actually been exercising the past few weeks, religiously, and today...I put on a pair of pants without having to lay on the bed, suck in (actually not breathe), pulllllllllllllll the button into the button hole and PRAY that when I stand up it won't pop out. It was above and beyond amazing! :) I can't tell by looking at myself that I've lost weight but that was a great feeling! :) I mean, they're still tight, don't get me wrong, but I got to put my pants on while standing up for the first time in quite a while! :) THANK YOU GYM! :) (& Karis of-course since she's kept me motivated for the gym).

Pablo...

is getting neutered today!! Along with that he's getting a K-9 pulled, he still has one baby one and one adult on one side. He's getting his booster vaccines and he's getting some other things done so lets all pray for Pablo today that he does well and comes out of this a non-marking, non-humping puppy! :) If nothing else at-least the non-marking puppy!

While we're on the subject of prayer, can we all please life up a prayer for 2/3 Marines that are in Afghanistan? They're doing a great thing out there and today the Afghans the next few days are going to be very high tension there so lets all please say a prayer! If we could also lift up my cousin Caleb it would be greatly appreciated. He's in boot camp for the Marine Corps right now and has an upper respitory infection, thanks! I got to talk to Cameron today so I was ECSTATIC!!! He's doing GREAT! :) I haven't heard him in such high hopes in a while. It was a great conversation! Not too much longer and he'll be home! YaY!

Sorry...

I'm so sorry that I promised to blog more over the weekend but have failed to do so.

This weekend I was not up to par for anything. I've been out of work the past 2 days with some sort of stomach bug. The Dr. prescribed me some anti-nausea medicine which should be labeled as a narcotic as when I took it I slept from 10:30 that night until 2:00p.m. the next day. CRAZY.

Anyway...I've gotten a lot done around the house when not feeling too bad. I bought a coffee table at a yardsale on Sunday for $5.00. It was a wood color but had paint all over it and scratches all over it. I decided I would fix it up. Looking back I wish I would've taken a before picture but I didn't so...here is the after picture...

As you can see I've also done some rearranging of sorts to the house! :) I put pictures of all of the rearrangements on my picture site. So check it out! I don't have everyones e-mails to add them but you're welcome to stop in there anytime!
