Things that I have learned so far...
Everyone in Hawaii that is a caregiver of any sort is either Auntie or Uncle
If a word in Hawaii starts with the letter V, it is pronounced like a V. If the V is in the middle of a word it is pronounced like a W.
There are only 7 consanants used in the Hawaiian language.
Hawaiian's hate the military and whities
Ditty Mo is my favorite saying that I learned here...It means "ball out" pretty much! :)
Being married to Cameron is amazing! :)
Having a puppy is much harder than anyone could ever think...
The Marine Corps wants you to do everything for them in a timely manner while all they do is make you wait...
In order to make friends in a new place you have to open yourself up no matter how hard it is.
There are some people who tell you that they love you (friendship wise) but they never really meant it.
Who my true friends are; distance tells all my friends.
That having to pay bills really sucks and is very stressful.
I should have finished school when given the opportunity because now I can't afford it.
A new car is wonderful until you have to pay for it for 6 years. Uck.
Finding a job in a new place when you're involved with the military is very hard to do because they are tired of hiring people for short periods of time.
The Marine Corps messes up pay left and right and you're lucky if it has never happened to you.
The health insurance through the military could NOT be better! :)
How to stay in a home alone with no one there to keep me company.
How to be content with myself and how to be happy with myself.
That being away from all my family and friends is really hard but has taught me a lot in life. :)
