Oh man. I'm trying to get Pablo on a schedule so that he will be POTTY TRAINED, hopefully, but in order to do this I have to get myself on a schedule. Keep in mind I've never been on a schedule before no matter what, especially on my days off from work. So I'm now going to be relaxing from 10pm-11pm, lights out at 11p.m. (this is very difficult for me since I am a night person). I am to get up every morning at 7a.m. whether I work or not, ahhh, what happened to sleeping in on your days off? I'm to go to the gym, or do something to get dressed and out of the house at 7a.m. so that I don't just go get back in the bed and Pablo will have time to eat & potty before I leave then go in his crate at-least by 9:30, every day, since that's when I would leave for work. AHHH. Seriously. I did not realize having a puppy was like having a child....anyone have a puppy with some ideas on potty training? I'm trying and trying...obviously changing my schedule to suit his schedule but come on. I'm the only one giving. Any suggestions?

It's always a little harder to potty train small dogs for some reason. Crate training helped our lab more than anything - and like you say, having a schedule.
Always take him out 20 minutes after he eats. (Although Bailey has to go out nearly immediately after she eats).
Just keep trying! He'll learn!
When my friend potty trained her puppy, she got those little training pads for him. It only took a couple of times of her running him over to the pad before he learned just to go to the pad and then eventually he learned just to go outside.
Sorry, but I don't really have any good ideas! You might be able to google it!?!?
