Book Reviews...

We're shooting here. Or not.Image by IHTSBIH via Flickr

I hope they serve beer in hell...Man. It's an absolutely HILARIOUS book. Please take caution in reading this book if you are the least bit sensitive because it's a very "degrading" book about women and it's about a man, Tucker Max, who is the biggest dirt bag in the world when it comes to the way that he treats women and himself. He is an asshole and it's a complete jerk to women but he is a wonderful writer. He tells his life stories in ways that I could only dream of writing! :) So. There is my opinion on the book. It's hiliarious, to me, but it WILL offend a NUMBER of people reading it...So, that said, it's up to you to read it and develop your own opinion about it! This is a picture of the strip club in which Tucker Max talks about in his book, it's the picture that popped up with my Zemanta when I typed in his name...ahhh! lol!

"Pretty in Plaid" is a great book so far. It's a biography of Jennifer Lancaster, auther of "Bitter is the New Black", "Bright Lights Big Ass", and "Such a Pretty Fat". This is the first book of her's that I've read, I'm still in the process of reading it, but it's a really good book so far. :) I went to the beach today, I must say for the first time since Cameron and I went last, and I read it. It was a very great/relaxing day. I will say that I didn't think I got ANY sun but on the 3 spots that I missed putting sunscreen are EXTREMELY burnt (on my front) as well as my entire back (minus my new permanant bow tie). Oh well, there's my tan I was looking for! haha.

I have decided that every day off that I have from now on I will be going to the beach for at-least an hour, weater permitting, because I live in HAWAII. Seriously, I have been living here for almost 8 months and I look like a white girl that's been stuck in The Forks all year round instead of Hawaii. It's horrilbe. I know.

I was just thinking about getting a new book...I might read one of those.

Girl, you better get out there and enjoy Hawaii while you can! You will definitely regret it later if you don't! :)
